Good morning, Friends!
This image from a sunset in Texas may look dark but I see the silhouette of the trees lifting their branches upward as if in praise. The golden orange sun and clouds make a great backdrop for these bare winter trees. I grabbed this photograph from my archives to pair with this Scripture as I had photographed it at the back of a field where there was a wooded stand of oaks. The whole Psalm speaks of worship and praising the Lord. Parts of this Psalm were from David’s dedication of the tabernacle on Mount Zion, and part of it looks forward to the time of praise from all the nations with the joy, for when the Lord reigns from Jerusalem. It is always time for me to remember to rejoice in the Lord and not get caught up in the world’s woes. God is sovereign and His plans are perfect. I rejoice that I do not need to worry, but just trust. I pray blessings and joy for you all this coming week!
