These three deer are one group that comes by and sticks together. They are always watchful too.
This time of world events every day gets tiring and that is when I need to watch my own outlook and refresh. When I read the scriptures and especially Psalms, I am reminded to trust in God. The obedience of my heart should be to seek my Lord and that will dictate my well-being. I know where my peace is found and thankfully God is there in the midst of it. All the time. Blessings to you this week!

Last week I saw this hummingbird sitting on the tree branch seemingly waiting on something. We know hummingbirds to be fast and furious as they buzz by us claiming the nectar spots but then they stop somewhere and wait silently. I think back to occasions in my life that I had to wait on the Lord. I tend to try to fix or finagle situations and that is when God makes me stop and wait for Him! I know now that I would rather seek Him FIRST. I know now that I can find solace in His word. I know now that I should wait silently and remember that my soul is in His hands. Staying in His word is the key as I wait. I can expect the Lord to move - because I belong to Him, He is my hope and He wants the best for me.
I pray for Blessings to you this week! Photo-Scripture April 10, 2020
Good Friday As I was editing my flower photographs I noticed the cross shape in the middle of this perfectly formed iris. I thought about the beauty of that important cross that my perfect Jesus died on. He died for my sins and I thank Him every day for saving my soul. The good in this Good Friday is the fact that we have a Savior. Christ died for us - people who “fall short of the glory of God”. All of humankind fall short and are not worthy. But Jesus made a way back to God. He loved us so much that He took on the humiliation that came with crucifixion. Oh what a Savior, He is the only worthy One. And Oh what a Hope because Sunday is coming and those that “believe on the name of Jesus” and have asked Him for forgiveness of their sins have that promise of everlasting life with God in heaven. The book of John explains all that you need to know about the Lord Jesus Christ and for salvation in Him. Read it if you don’t know Him. God’s word is alive and true. He loves you so much, even to the death of the cross. |
