Photo-Scripture April 10, 2020
Good Friday As I was editing my flower photographs I noticed the cross shape in the middle of this perfectly formed iris. I thought about the beauty of that important cross that my perfect Jesus died on. He died for my sins and I thank Him every day for saving my soul. The good in this Good Friday is the fact that we have a Savior. Christ died for us - people who “fall short of the glory of God”. All of humankind fall short and are not worthy. But Jesus made a way back to God. He loved us so much that He took on the humiliation that came with crucifixion. Oh what a Savior, He is the only worthy One. And Oh what a Hope because Sunday is coming and those that “believe on the name of Jesus” and have asked Him for forgiveness of their sins have that promise of everlasting life with God in heaven. The book of John explains all that you need to know about the Lord Jesus Christ and for salvation in Him. Read it if you don’t know Him. God’s word is alive and true. He loves you so much, even to the death of the cross.
