Good morning, all!
This is last day of July already! The older I get the faster time goes by. This morning I worked on my photograph of Canna flowers to put the words of this bible verse from Psalms on it. The lower flower opened up and leaned outward and upward as it bloomed. I processed the photograph with a heavy painterly style for a colorful way to give God praise. I thought about how important it is for me to say ‘Good morning, God’ when I get up out of bed in the mornings and raise up my arms in praise. Reading my daily Scripture verses is important to me and though I don’t remember everything I read, I know that it is pleasing to the Lord and that gives me comfort. Actually, all of Psalm 5 is comforting to me. Blessings to you all this week!

Good morning, friends!
I saw this crow in a tree and as it looked over its shoulder, I thought it looked a bit sinister with that shiny eye, even though crows are actually kind of neat birds. I photographed it that day for a ‘someday I will use it’ shot. I added the Scripture this morning that I think goes well. Some days my mind thinks of all the kinds of disunity in our country now and an inspiration came to me that the only unifier of our spirit is the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who believe and know Him, know that this is not heaven on earth but we, as believers, do have peace with God already. Our home is with God and our souls are united with Him. I know God is patient and kind and I pray that those souls that will come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will do so and know of this peace. God knows what is going on and sees all - and in His perfect time He will take care of it all. I also know the truth is in Scripture and that His word will always stand firm – that keeps me on the steady path. May you all have a strong, bold week of faith and blessings. Good morning, friends!
It is the season of deer babies (fawns) being born and they are starting to come out to explore in the meadows. Some of them are learning to use their legs and play as this little one was doing one morning. In their learning, they tend to hop and run quickly, which will be a good ability to know as they get older. I processed this image with an illustrated and painterly style, which I like to do to some of my photographs. This Scripture from Titus was a good fit, in my thoughts, as the image is about learning and urgency and to keep awareness close to the heart. When ministering to others and meeting their needs, you will do good to bring the fruits of caring with love and kindness - which will glorify the Lord. Imparting the fruits of the Spirit and sharing blessings is an investment in the kingdom of God. May you all have a wonderful and fruitful week ahead! |
