Good morning, friends!
Life has ups and downs – seasons and chapters, and we say ‘that’s life’ - but I am thankful we have a God who understands it all. Today this will be short and sweet for time’s sake as my elderly and frail family member is home now, needing attention and care. This image of the vast sky and clouds over the flatlands, showing a rain shower far away reminds me of how great God is. He knows what we are going through and will provide what we need, when we need it. I trust Him and I know He is there. May you all have a blessed week ahead!

Good morning, friends!
Today my mind is on a family member as she is still healing from her surgery and my heart knows she is in God’s hands. When we were driving to my sister’s place a couple of weeks ago, we saw this beautiful full moon come over the mountains as the evening was taking over and dusk was departing. There was a wisp of clouds in front of it and the atmosphere made the moon have a golden hue. I asked my husband to pull over so I could grab a few shots. It was such a gorgeous sight for which this photograph does not capture the splendor of the scene. I was kind of stunned that people were just driving by and not paying attention to the beauty of the sky, but I guess Californians are used to seeing the scenery! Anyway, I wanted to find a bible Scripture that gave praise to the Lord. This is a perfect verse from the book of Isaiah and is a shout out to God for His provision of mercy. In prophecy and in present times, our Lord is merciful, and I trust His mercy to comfort my family member and other family members as we go forward with her care. May your week be blessed with mercy and kindness! Good morning, all!
It has been a rough few days for me this week. I chose today’s image of the ocean with its rich colors and sea waters gently passing over the stationary rocks by the shoreline. I added this bible verse in Psalm 37, which gives a promise. The complete Psalm deals with struggles and questions. The outcome for me as I read it, is that ‘God’s got this’, He always does, and He always will. As I commit all TO the Lord and trust all WITH the Lord, all my anxiety will be comforted BY the Lord - with His promises, His love, and His guidance. I know in my heart God will prevail. May you be blessed this week in your life’s journey. |
