I would rather be in the shadow of God’s protection than in the wiles of this world. The hope the Lord provided to us is priceless and I am glad He loved us so much that He went to the cross to cover us with His righteousness - for eternal salvation and life. Yes, His help has been my joy but His love is always my joy. Have a blessed week as we anticipate Easter/Resurrection Sunday coming up.

I have been waiting for Spring for a few weeks now. I am ready for plants and flowers to pop up. There is a wild Red Bud Tree in a field by me that has started to blossom out it's pink flowers this past week. I was happy to see it and the bees just make it all the better. I love to see bees doing their thing and I guess they are happy too.
It seems that there are many times that I find myself waiting on the Lord – for changes, for justification, for revenge - my mind could go on. I am glad He is God and is the wisest One and that I am not in charge of the world! My flesh has no patience; my spirit has been learning it for a long time. The best thing for me is to stay in God’s word and know that the Lord has everything under control – His timing is perfect and I know I must trust His divine plans. Prayers that you all have a blessed week - Happy Spring! Sunday Photo-Scripture, Mini-Devo
What a wonderful promise from our Lord. We can be content knowing that He will never leave us or forsake us. His children are in His hands forever. As I have aged I have come to know that I really don’t ‘need’ things like I used to want, or covet. I desire to please God and be content with His provisions. Knowing that I belong to Him, I am so grateful for His love, grace and mercy. It is hard to remember this when we are bombarded by the world’s standards – our standards should be foremost in our minds and hearts – faith and love of the Lord; I have to work on that every day. May you all have a blessed week! |
