Good morning, everyone!
We are having days of up and down weather and I believe we are going to have another week of it with some very cold weather coming on Wednesday, maybe some snow! I am ready for some blossoms and flowers to show up and so I retrieved this blossom photograph (with a creepy spider on it) from my archive to pair with today’s bible verse. This verse from 2 Timothy is really packed with encouragement and strength as the apostle Paul gives spiritual support to Timothy. It is a comfort to know we have the same inspiration of truth working inside of us as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. There were persecutions of believers by the Romans at that time and we may experience persecution for our beliefs as well in this day and time. God has given us the resources to withstand the trials and threats. His power and authority over this world will always overcome anything that would come against us. We can stand strong in our faith as we seek His wisdom and the power of His love in us and through us to love others - and to have confidence in His divine protection. Have a blessed and cozy week!

Good morning, friends!
As I go through my archived photographs to choose ones for Sundays Photo-Scripture, I find little gems and some are dramatic. Today’s selection of the dark ocean (which I took many years ago at South Padre Island at sunrise), is one of those dramatic images I wanted to put a Bible Verse to. This verse from Colossians 1:13 expresses the love God has for His Son and for His children. It is a powerful statement of truth. When meditating on this verse and looking up some meanings of the word ‘deliver’, I better understood that those who are called into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through faith are Spiritually rescued from the dark realm of the world’s ways (and satan’s domain) into the Lord’s supreme light. I thank God for saving my soul and for placing me in the light of His kingdom now and forever. May you all have a blessed week! Good morning, everyone!
We had a super cold day yesterday with a brisk chilly wind and some snow flurries (for only a half hour) so needless to say, we stayed inside and kept warm. As I was perusing my archives for today’s Photo-Scripture I found this butterfly on wildflowers that I hadn’t edited yet. Since I am already longing for Spring and the wildflowers, I thought I would apply this nectar seeking butterfly to make a Photographic Art image with today’s Scripture verse from Psalm 119:2. I am on my 5th year of reading the whole bible through each year and I must say, I find new things that I know I read previously but didn’t stand out then. Seeking God through His word is such a treasure (as is knowing the Lord Jesus Christ Who saved my soul and gave me peace). I know I need to read my bible more often than I do. The key for me in this Scripture today is the word ‘heart’, which in this passage means desire, mind and passion – the whole heart means to have a commitment. I hope this year to put more of my heart into my reading plan. Knowing more of His promises and truths to store within my heart and soul is a yearning I have to cultivate. Praying you all have a blessed week! |
