Good morning, everyone!
It has been a little over a week since my mom passed away and though I miss her, I know I will see her again. The flowers in this image are nearby my mom’s place along a walkway and I am drawn to them because of their pink tones. I added one of my favorite bible Scripture’s from Jude. I am quite fond of this greeting, and it gives me comfort because these are also attributes of God. Through the grace of our Lord, He gives mercy, He gives peace, and His love is never-ending. May you all have a blessed week ahead filled with love.

Good morning, friends.
These two roses represent the memory of my mom who loved to grow them and my dad who also loved to have roses in the garden. Last Friday evening my mother passed on into the arms of our Lord and surely to be reunited with my dad who went before her 14 years ago. It was a peaceful passing for her and a comfort to know her body is not hurting, and she is not blind anymore. We are mourning our loss but also have contentment with the long life she enjoyed with her family. The hope and promises of God keep us encouraged with the knowledge of seeing her again one day. May you all have blessings this week and tell someone close that you love them. Strength and hope sometimes goes hand in hand, for me. The strength I gather from God’s word and the prayers of friends and family bolster me up. One of the definitions in the Hebrew language, of the word ‘courage’, means to bind or fortify. That is what God’s word does all throughout the bible. Binding the words of the Lord to my heart will always fortify my faith and gives me comfort that He knows everything going on in my life. I can have that reassurance of strength 24/7.
I also want to mention today, a day of remembrance of the victims and the brave from 9/11, that I pray for God’s comfort to those who lost them. May you all be blessed this week. |
AuthorI am a photographer who enjoys matching Bible Scripture to my photographs. I posted Photo-Scripture here for 4 years for encouragement and I urge you to look up the scripture in your bible and read it for insight on how much God loves you!. Please see the archives for more. Archives
