Good Sunday morning, friends!
October is almost over and it amazes me sometimes how fast the year has gone by! I try to look back at all the life events this year, so far, and can joyfully say that God has been there with me all throughout it - every second. His mercy is palpable, and I can sense His comfort. The Scripture I paired with this image goes on to say that with the comfort we receive from the Lord, we are in a position to comfort others because we have been through it and can relate. These pretty plumbago flowers are growing in one of my sister’s gardens in Malibu. They are a striking blue tone and remind me that if you look around your environment, there is beauty that stands out and it leads me to blessing the Lord and praising Him for being in my life. I gave this image a watercolor style for a botanical print appearance. May you have a beautiful and blessed week as you may have opportunity to share comfort to others!

Sometimes I feel my old age, especially when I have full days of busy work. I get into the routines of the day and tend to neglect praising God for getting me through. I desire to be like this psalmist declares – to be fruitful and to praise the Lord for His love and faithfulness, all the time.
This pretty Camelia flower was in my other sister’s garden. I photographed it just after a light rain last week and the pretty pink of the flower flourished, with the raindrops holding on to its petals. That’s why I picked this verse to go with this image. There are times that I wonder what I can use for the Sunday Photo-Scriptures, but all I have to do is look at the Lord’s creation, pray for inspiration, and then I will always find a verse in His word to complement His handiwork. I pray blessings for you all this week! Good morning, friends!
I just want to praise God this morning as I am over the covid completely and feeling so much better. The blessing of sickness had me praying a lot and harder for the Lord’s mercy and to bring me and my sister through it. We are on the other side of it now and so thankful to God for His merciful kindness and the prayers of our friends and family as well. These mum flowers have started blooming on the back porch – all summer I was thinking of getting rid of the plant because it was spindly and sparce. The weather is getting cooler now in California and the Chrysanthemum plant came to life with such pretty orange-gold flowers. As the season turns, God’s creation knows what to do. As I turn to the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving, I am glad He hears me. I am glad He loves me and that I belong to Him. May you all have a blessed week! |
