Months ago this electric pole was occupied by the woodpecker that made the heart shaped hole at the top. I was thrilled to capture this photograph of a beautiful red-shouldered hawk as it landed there and stayed for about 10 minutes. We think it is reclaiming this area of the neighborhood for winter and watching over its territory.
This Scripture speaks to how we handle our own hearts. The heart shaped hole in this image makes me contemplate how I need to watch over my own heart and fill it with God’s word. I do not want an empty space because I neglected to watch over what goes inside. Thankfully the Lord gave us instructions on how to fill our hearts up with Him. I pray God’s blessings to you this week!
