Good morning, all!
Our weekend is a bit emotional as we had the Celebration of Life event for my mom yesterday. We have a lot of family in for the tribute yesterday and the memorial at sea on Monday. Ups and downs in sentiments but it is nice to have everyone together, my mom would have loved it. This photograph is a pretty sunrise over the mountains in front of my mom’s house; there are some mornings when it is absolutely striking. I put this Scripture from the Psalms on it because I need to be reminded that my soul is in the Lord’s hands and my eyes should be sky level watching for Him. Back in this era, the shepherds had a night watch and could see when morning approached. Since God knows our every thought and what is in our hearts, my hope is to recall this verse when nighttime anxiousness happens and let it go. A good way to do that is by meditating in His word and giving God the glory for the joy and spiritual peace He has given. I pray blessings to you this week.
